Nihongo Bashi to hold 2-day cross-cultural seminar on Japan, New Delhi

Ever wondered how to work with the Japanese? What is the difference and similarity between Indian culture and the Japanese culture?

  • Topics for DAY 1
    Session I will cover Geographical Perspectives, the Japanese People, doing Business in Japan and interacting with Japanese at the board room level.
    Session 2 will cover business etiquette around the conference table and tips when visiting Japan.

    Topics for DAY 2
    Session 3 will cover Eating/drinking - Options for Indians and cultural sensitivities; how to conclude a business deal; protocols for entertaining.
    Session 4 will cover the 5-S's of "Workplace aesthetics & ethics", Time management & punctuality in Japan, Quality issues, Japanese customer-centric approach and traits of the Japanese businessman.

    Presenter Profile
    Jai Narayan, Academic Director, Nihongo Bashi

    Jai Narayan is the Academic Director of Nihongo Bashi and holds a Masters Degree in Marketing Communication from Osaka University of Arts and a Diploma in Japanese from The International Community College (ICC), Kobe, Japan. He is a bicultural and bilingual specialist in Japanese Language and brings with him rich experience of living and working in Japan for nearly 15 years during which he acquired a near native-level fluency in the Japanese language.
    Jai has successfully delivered corporate training programs in Japanese language and culture for leading IT-services organisations like Infosys, Wipro Technologies, Accenture, Sasken Communication, iGate Global Solutions, Tata Elxsi Limited and TCS, amongst others. His deep insight into Japanese language and culture has been highly appreciated and valued by the participants of his programs.

    Seminar fees
    The fees per participant are given in the table below. Organisations nominating multiple participants stand to gain as per the details mentioned in the table.

    *Service Tax and Education Cess

    As Applicable and in addition to the fees mentioned above. Currently, the service tax is applicable at 12% and Education cess at 2%. Taxes prevailing at the time of invoicing will be applicable.

    Fees include Tea/Coffee/Lunch for the participants.
