Nihongo Bashi, Galgotias tie up to offer Graduate Diploma program in Japanese Management in Singapore & NOIDA

Specialized Japan-centric "twinning" program will allow students to gain international experience in Singapore, the major business hub in South East Asia and a bridge between Japan and India, while preparing them for a lucrative career in the India-Japan sector.

Singapore, August 29, 2006: Nihongo Bashi the Singapore-headquartered leader in Japanese education & training services in India, and the Galgotias group of Institutions, a reputed provider of high quality engineering and management education, are strengthening their current collaboration to introduce a one-year Graduate Diploma program in Japanese management.

The joint program will be conducted in Singapore and at Galgotias' campus in NOIDA, India, with students getting the opportunity to spend 6 months at each location.

The two organizations made this announcement on the occasion of the graduation ceremony of the first batch of 22 students' who underwent Nihongo Bashi's Academic Japanisation Program at Galgotias. The event was graced by the Hon'ble Toshio Yamamoto, Counsel General, Embassy of Japan, India and representatives from several Japanese & Indian corporate bodies and prominent associations. The entire graduating class has already secured job placements with Japanese business units of companies such as HCL and Satyam.

Taught by a world class faculty, comprising senior professionals and reputed academics with several decades of collective work experience in Japan, the one year program will equip students with a combination of Japanese language skills & cultural awareness and technical and business management skills. It will also include a "company assignment" that will provide students with real-life experience in a formal Japanese environment. Students will also be trained to take on the Business Japanese Test (BJT), formerly known as JETRO test for language proficiency skills.
