JobSkills© program details & course content
JobSkills© is a part-time Certificate program with an intensive, instructor-led in-classroom training. The program is based on the curriculum prescribed for various Cambridge ESOL examinations, the world's leading range of certificates for learners of English.
The focus of the JobSkills© program is on conversational English, mainly in a business context; the objective is to equip students with the confidence to converse in good English.
Towards that end, the program is divided into three modules:
- Fundamental English Training - aimed at ramping up English language skills, while everyone can benefit from this module, it is invaluable for students whose medium of instruction at secondary and tertiary education levels was not English. This module has three levels:
- Basic English Training
- Intermediate English Training
- Advanced English Training
- Business English Certificates (BEC)- Students are prepared to take a suite of three exams to test English language ability to business context.
- Soft Skills - Students are taught essentials of communication and grooming, as these skills are a key differentiator in a professional career.
